Message From Fr. Hank

Happy Birthday, Father Hank! We celebrated his “60th” birthday today at Mass. May God’s love and peace be with you always!

Mrs. Strong’s class loves the giant panda in the guidance counseling room. They named him “Timmy” and asked to celebrate his “birthday” (in the Easter season after Lent! 😂). 3rd grade finally celebrated Timmy today. HUGE. Check out all the “gifts!” Happy birthday “Timmy!”

This week’s Squire Talk...Raising Kids and the Domestic Church with Mark Hart.
http://bit.ly/STMarkHart
Our guest this week is Mark Hart, international speaker, long time employee of Life Teen Catholic ministry, and author (along with his wife) of a new, real talk, book on family life. Mark breaks down the term “domestic church” ...because, also real talk...it’s a term thrown around so much, but rarely broken down into the simplicity and beauty of ordinary family life.
God bless and enjoy the hilarious, genuine and profound insights of Mark Hart, http://bit.ly/STMarkHart

4th grade had a blind(folded) pilgrim journeying her way to Jesus. She had a guardian angel to keep her safe from all of the distractions in the world. Thank goodness, Jesus was there to guide her to heaven!

An SG Alum...who continues to give to us and his community!

Coffee with the Principal tomorrow at 8:10 and Zoom at 6:00. A few important things to discuss...see you tomorrow!

Mr. Calhoun's science classes have finished our graphs for inherited human traits! We learned a lot about the importance of detailed data collection, using different types of graphs to represent the data differently, and we talked a lot about potential sources of error. Enjoy!

We love birthdays at SG!

At Easter we see signs of new life. We remember that Jesus is alive. Kindergarten celebrated Easter today with an Easter egg hunt! 🐣

3rd grade working on Easter cards for the many young boys currently in a shelter in Dallas who’ve entered the country unaccompanied. Their cards wish them peace & safety during the Easter season, & offer our prayers for them, especially for them to be with their families again.

4th and 5th grade Stem Egg Drop.

Bishop Strickland has shared some ways to make these last days of Easter even more meaningful. Take a look when you have a chance. May the SG community have a blessed Easter and remember that our community is strong because we pray for each other.
