Former UT and Braves pitcher Andrew McKirahan hosted a successful two-day pitching camp at Bishop Gorman. The camp was full of great lessons in Faith and Baseball!

Baseball is a great game & tremendous teacher of life - let's not let it become our religion. God throws us curveballs, keeps us off balance, & even allows us to hit a grand slam from time to time. It's taught me that we are not exempt from anything, especially adversity and suffering. How will we respond? Progress on the field is nice, but more importantly, how do we help young men develop virtue? My hope & prayer is that they become the men their families & society desperately need them to be. It starts with our Christ-like example & close attention to the virtues of Faith, Discipline, & Humility.

Big night for Bishop Gorman Athletics! Middle School soccer defeated LakeHill, Middle School boys' and girls' basketball took commanding leads to win over Marshall Trinity and Varsity boys basketball brought home a win against Cypress Christian. Go CRU!

We had a great start to the season at the Milton tournament. 20 teams were represented from TAPPS D4 to UIL 5A. Senior Josh Hayes went undefeated to win his weight class, and Junior Sam Kerzee placed 2nd. We look to continue the same results in two weeks at Temple High School!
